Student terms of service

What SafeNest gives you

• Access to verified rooms in Hamburg with total monthly rent up to €700.
• Visible verification results: who the lister is, what was checked and when.
• Real viewing slots, including live video and trusted-representative viewings.
• A record of your rental journey and a place to report problems.

What students pay

Nothing. Searching, viewing verification results, booking viewings, using the tenant journey and contacting support are free for students. SafeNest does not charge students a search, reservation, matching or success fee.

What SafeNest is not

• SafeNest is not your landlord and is not a party to your rental contract.
• SafeNest does not collect, hold, forward or escrow rent or deposits.
• Verification reduces risk. It is not a guarantee about a person, a property or an outcome.

SafeNest Loop

SafeNest Loop is a notice board only. SafeNest is not a party to any sale, gift or delivery arranged between users, does not handle payments, and gives no warranty on the condition, ownership or safety of items. Users arrange payment and handover directly and at their own risk.

Delivery helpers act independently, are not employees or agents of SafeNest, are responsible for their own tax and insurance, and SafeNest accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury.

• Users must not list prohibited items such as weapons, alcohol to minors, medicines or counterfeit goods.
• Only list items you own outright and are allowed to pass on.
• Repeated confirmed reports of non-payment or no-show end your access to SafeNest Loop.

Your obligations

• Give accurate information about yourself.
• Attend or cancel viewings you have booked.
• Do not share another person's documents or contact details.
• Report anything that looks like fraud.

SafeNest is a platform, not a broker

SafeNest lets listers publish rooms, verifies defined facts and offers search, viewing requests and safety information. SafeNest does not select a room for you, negotiate rent or lease terms, sign or arrange leases, collect rent or deposits, or promise that you will obtain a room. Students pay nothing — this is a permanent principle.

SafeNest provides information and verification of stated facts. Verification is not a guarantee of safety, legal compliance, availability or the conduct of any party. Legal, immigration, tax and housing information may change — please verify important decisions with the responsible authority or a qualified adviser. SafeNest is not a lawyer, immigration authority, tax adviser or housing authority.
