The rules for students using SafeNest to find a room.

What SafeNest gives you
- Access to verified rooms in Hamburg with total monthly rent up to €700.
- Visible verification results: who the lister is, what was checked and when.
- Real viewing slots, including live video and trusted-representative viewings.
- A record of your rental journey and a place to report problems.
What students pay
Nothing. Searching, viewing verification results, booking viewings, using the tenant journey and contacting support are free for students. SafeNest does not charge students a search, reservation, matching or success fee.
What SafeNest is not
- SafeNest is not your landlord and is not a party to your rental contract.
- SafeNest does not collect, hold, forward or escrow rent or deposits.
- Verification reduces risk. It is not a guarantee about a person, a property or an outcome.
Your obligations
- Give accurate information about yourself.
- Attend or cancel viewings you have booked.
- Do not share another person's documents or contact details.
- Report anything that looks like fraud.
